Home renovations on the Costa del Sol
A complete renovation starts with deciding what stays, what changes and how the work fits together. PERA Construct coordinates demolition, installations, bathrooms, kitchens, flooring and finishes around the needs of your property.

Plan the property as a whole
Renovating an apartment, house or villa involves decisions that affect more than one room. Moving a kitchen can change drainage routes; underfloor heating changes the floor build-up; a new layout affects lighting and water connections. We review these connections before defining the work.
An itemised quotation should identify quantities, finishes and included materials. It should also distinguish owner-selected products from work that may need further assessment once walls or floors have been opened.
Work that can be coordinated together
- Demolition and removal of finishes, with an agreed scope.
- Plumbing renewal and coordination of installations.
- Bathroom renovation, waterproofing and sanitaryware installation.
- Kitchen renovation and preparation of water and electrical points.
- Flooring and wall finishes, including preparation of the substrate.
- Water underfloor heating where it suits the project.
From the existing property to a workable quote
- Initial information. Location, property type, photographs, available plans and your goals.
- Property review. Measurements, access, existing installations and items to retain.
- Scope and selections. Materials, supplied products, included work and exclusions.
- Scheduling. Work sequence, orders and coordination between stages.
Use our renovation quotation checklist before comparing offers. It helps identify differences in scope that a total price alone will not explain.
Areas we cover
We work in Marbella, Benahavís, Estepona, Mijas and Fuengirola. Share the town and development so we can review travel and access. For apartments, building access and lift conditions matter; for villas, material deliveries, outdoor areas and connections between floors need consideration.
For a property in Benahavís, see our Benahavís renovation planning page. For other locations, contact the team with a description of the property and the proposed work.
Renovating while living abroad
We can coordinate project communication remotely and share updates from the work. It helps to agree who approves materials and changes, what information they need and when decisions are due. Site visits and handover are arranged around the agreed scope and availability.
Frequently asked questions
Can you renovate only part of a property?
Yes. Bathrooms, kitchens, floors and installations can be assessed separately. We review how the work affects the rest of the property and which areas need protection.
How much does a complete renovation cost?
The cost depends on measurements, substrate condition, installations, selected materials and access. A useful quote needs a defined scope; a generic cost per square metre can omit substantial work.
Can we keep existing furniture or finishes?
Tell us before the quotation is prepared. Protection, removal and reinstatement depend on what will remain and the space available while work is underway.
Tell us about your renovation
Send the location, photographs and a description of the work. We will review the information and discuss the next step.
